Championship Wrestling from Florida was blessed to have several great photographers capturing the magic in the 1960s through the 1980s. Names such as Ruth Oman, Paul Bauman, Sid Bennett, Bill Otten, and Raul Gomez de Molina, Jr. shot the action night after night. Shortly after Pete Lederberg arrived on the sunny shores of South Florida in 1976, his obsession with collecting wrestling photos began. Twenty-seven years later, and after buying the negative collections of Ruth Oman, Don Freedman, and Brian Berkowitz, Pete may possibly have the largest organized collection of wrestling photographs, negatives, and slides in the world. Ranging in years from the 1960s until the end of CWF in 1987, Pete's collection contains amazing photos of the state's finest grapplers. An accomplished photographer in his own right who began shooting photos for Paul Heyman and Eddie Gilbert in Continental in 1988, Pete continues to shoot at wrestling events around the country to this day. Pete is also making his photographs available for sale over the Internet. Check out his listings at visit his web site, or send him an email at plmathfoto@hotmail.com.
